The tale my work tells me is a narrative of sombre feelings in relation to each character's individual experiences..
Throughout the narrative many feelings, mostly of a melancholic nature, are depicted in forms that really draw together an essence of emotion.. These characters are derived from my own existential musings and intuitional reaction to my own environment and mindset.
What I hope to achieve in all my art is for the viewer to resonate, at least on some level, with the raw humanity in each form and find some connection there, however individual their experience..
I like leaving room for the viewer to find their own interpretation within my work.. not only to give them a sense of freedom and to excite their creativity.. but also as I love hearing new and different stories spring forth from their reactions.
However.. One hope I have is that, through my artistic expression, I might find an outlet through which I am understood.
